THE community of Boscastle celebrated on Monday, March 28 as the Bishop of Truro, the Right Rev Tim Thornton formally opened the new play school.

Children from the play school and primary school joined together to sing some traditional Cornish songs, whilst some of the original staff that started the playgroup back in 1972 enjoyed watching the performance alongside members of the parish council, and the chamber of trade and commerce, who have all been extremely supportive of the project.
