THE first two games for Dunheved 'B' team in the County League was an opportunity to bring in new blood and change around a few things, unfortunately no points scored.

v Kensey Vale 'C' lost 75-35 (5pts-0): W Shute, J Hake, F Maynard, J Moir 18-23; M Wood, A Fry, P Vernon, P Hobbs 8-25; G Atherton. D Chesham. V Squire, B Lane 10-27.

v Wadebridge 'B' lost 42-80 (5-0): W Shute, P Northmore, M Woodward, P Hobbs 16-20; G Atherton, D Chesham, A Fry, J Moir 16-29; J Hake, P Freestone, P Vernon, M Wood 10-31.

The 'A' team had their first game, away to Camelford 'A' who won 53-48 (4-1): M Gregory, B Kirby, B Harris, P Prynne 14-15; A L Fry, R Gribble, B Keighley, C Fishleigh 22-15; D Davey, G Littlejohns, D Bennett, D Bridgman 12-23.

On Sunday the National 2 Rink took place with Camborne coming to Dunheved What a match! which was decided with the last wood, almost dark. Well done Camborne, winning 40-39. High praise again from the Camborne crew on how well the green played, not in any hurry to get home as they stayed for refreshments, thank you ladies.
