THERE was a big celebration at Barn Park Home, in Halwill, on Monday, August 20, when one of its residents turned 100.

Dorothy Guy was born on August 20, 1918 in Wood Green, London.

She has one daughter, three grandsons and five great grandchildren.

She has lived at Barn Park since 2016.

Dorothy celebrated with her family on the Sunday before her birthday and with staff and other residents on Monday.
