LANHYDROCK Estate’s annual 10km charity walk Stride Cornwall for Cancer Research UK took place on Sunday, November 6, with more than 100 people taking part.
Sherry Claridge and Amanda Upsall from the Bettle and Chisel Inn at Delabole took part in the event and went along in their swan outfits, raising £561.
Organisers said all of the walkers had pledged £4,000.
Thanks were expressed to Samba Kernow for the music, Kristi James for the warm-up, Bodmin Fire Station for helping to set-up, Cousin Jacks for the catering and the Lions Club of Bodmin for marshalling the route and everyone else who supported the event.
