THE A Level results at Launceston College this year reflected the hard work that the students had put in.
Principal Jack Jackson said: "The average of the points per student for university entrance is the highest that the College has ever achieved and this means that students are now able to take the next important steps for their futures."
The pass rate was also up with 96 per cent of students passing their exams and 30 per cent being at either an A or B grade. The A level results included 3 x As and a B for Oak Ayling, and 2 As and a B for both Lucy Rowland and Susan Jasper.
Students from Launceston College have also been very successful in their attempts to get into their chosen universities with already 9 out of 10 of A Level students achieving their first or second choice destinations. More are set to follow this success after the UCAS clearing process is complete.
In the AS results there were three students who achieved either four or five grade As. They were Beth Shine, Nathan Parsons and Lawrence Sampson.
