BERRIES Pre-School recently held a successful open day for parents, carers and children from Bude and the surrounding area, at which 'Bubbles', the pet rabbit, was bewitched, bothered and bewildered with all the attention — although he was happy with the extra attention and food.
The staff and committee, with the help of employees at GCHQ, Morwenstow, worked ever so hard at cleaning, painting and rearranging their inside play space.
Pre-school assistant Emma George said: "We have spent hours and hours of our time, both paid and voluntary, to ensure that Berries Pre-School will be shown at its best for our open day. We understand that our pre-school has a responsibility to our community and believe there is huge value in parents and carers being involved with their children's care and education."
