TWO Bernese Mountain dogs from Tintagel picked up some rosettes at the recent Crufts competition, held over the weekend of March 8 to 10.
‘Gibbs’ and his niece ‘Tia’, from Tintagel, travelled to NEC in Birmingham on Friday for the working group of breeds.
Gibbs was placed ‘very highly commended’ in a strong class and then went on to take first placing in his second class of the day.
Tia did equally well, gaining a second in minor puppy, ‘very highly commended’ in puppy and third in Kennel Club good citizen. In total, 177 Bernese were entered.
