A RESIDENT of Boyton has been providing a source of entertainment for fellow villagers through a changing display of characters outside his home!

Steve Naish who runs Launceston Bouncy Castles, has been creating a display of teddy bears and other objects for people to see and enjoy during the lockdown.

He said: “It’s keeping me sane. I’m even having sleepness nights thinking about what I’m going to do next!”

His scenes have included Jurassic Park; Father Christmas; Britain’s Got Talent and Doctor Who.

“It was a bit of fun to start with. Now lots of the village walk down to see it. Life has become so simple, they’re looking to see what we’re going to do next.”

Steve has a lot of props from his bouncy castle business, and when he uploads pictures of the day’s display, he has been getting 600 to 700 hits a day.

“It’s getting silly now,” he joked. “But I love it. I’m getting up really early then it’s all set up and ready to go. It just makes my day. I haven’t had a single bad comment. People are saying it’s fantastic and that they look forward to it the next day.”
