IT WAS a thrill for many on Sunday, September 12, to witness four young people from Chilsworthy baptised by total immersion. They were Josie Alford, Tom Musson, George Shepherd and James Smith. The event took place on a sunny afternoon outside Holsworthy Memorial Hall, with a large crowd of onlookers including family, friends and members of Rock Solid and local churches. The baptistry took the form of a cattle water trough, towed in by a Land Rover and trailer, and filled by the local fire brigade! The young people were baptised by Rev Beth McDowell, assisted by Peter Old, Mark Shepherd, Andrew Musson and Sue Banks.

CEREMONY: Josie Alford, Tom Musson, George Shepherd and James Smith all underwent a baptism ceremony outside Holsworthy Memorial Hall recently.
