TSB in Bude has announced that Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is the bank’s new local charity partner for 2017 and 2018.
TSB has given more than £1.7-million to local causes across Britain since its local charity partnerships launched in 2015. This year a record 27,000 nominations were received from local charities across the country to join the programme, which sees TSB partners from 550 branches and eight office sites volunteer and raise money on behalf of the chosen charities.
Melanie Dymond, bank manager at TSB Bude, said: “Our local charity partnership programme is all about working in partnership to help support the local causes that are the lifeblood of many communities across Britain. It’s what we’re all about at TSB and we are now entering into our third year of supporting a local charity at our branch, here in Bude.
“I am thrilled to welcome Children’s Hospice South West as our new local charity partner, which is close to our hearts here in Bude — we can’t wait to get started.”
Naomi Dymond, corporate partnerships fundraiser for CHSW’s Little Bridge House, said: “We are delighted to have been chosen as TSB Bude’s new local charity partner. The team’s support will make a really positive impact on our charity and the work we do here in Bude.”
TSB is continuing to build on its programme for the 2017 and 2018 partnerships and has introduced a welcome workshop to help its charity partners network with other local charity partners and make the most of the opportunity to raise their profile.
