PLYMOUTH rock band LastOneOut will be at the Cornish Ivy in Liskeard next week at a night of music and straight talking on mental health.
The event on Tuesday, June 2, from 7pm to 10pm, will be kicked off by the Blurt it Out Foundation, which provides online support for people affected by mental health issues, and whose mission is to 'tackle the stigma of depression one word at a time'.
Then it will be over to music, with a line-up of folk and acoustic bands, a rap artist, and local performers.
A second event on Thursday will feature a different set of bands and performers, said organisers from the Real Idea Organisation (RIO).
Organiser Charlotte Butler said: 'We thought that having a live event would be a way of getting people involved and talking about mental health.'
