Bude Town Band hosted a successful return concert with the Chivenor Military Wives Choir at Penstowe Manor Kilkhampton.

The audience enjoyed two musically packed halves of both the choir and band performing a wide variety of music at the concert on Saturday, June 13.

Compere James Morrish delighted the audience with great stand up comedy and helped with the auction. The raffle was kindly run by Elaine Miles from Barclays Bank.

Barclays runs a pound-for-pound scheme which allows their employees to raise money for local charities — Barclays will then match fund any amount of money their employee raises up to £1,000.

The evening was a huge success and the proceeds will go towards the band's New Hall Fund and The Military Wives Charity.
