MEMBERS of Bude Scouts and Explorers took on the annual Coast to Coast Challenge on the weekend commencing Friday, April 26.

This challenge walk takes the participants across Cornwall from one side of the coast to the other, with an overnight stop about half way.

This year Bude had three Scout teams and an Explorer team taking on the challenge.

The route started at Port Isaac on Saturday morning, following footpaths, roads and tracks to Lanhydrock, where everyone got a well earned rest for the night.
