LAUNCESTON Rotarian Neville Helme, with club president David Shrimpton, recently presented a cheque for £400 to the town's Barefoot Volunteers group.

The Barefoot Volunteers aim to improve the town by giving young people the chance to make positive changes in the community and the money was used to finance an art workshop at Priory Park on Saturday, April 6.

Neville said: "Part of the workshop will be graffiti art and it is important to stress that it is not to teach young people to vandalize the area, but rather to teach them how graffiti can be an art form."
