A PRESENTATION of awards for members of the Camelford Town Band was held recently at Bowood Golf Club, Camelford.

Players’ Player of the Year went to Mark Baker, Soloist of the Year went to Lewis Baker, the all round Bandsman of the Year went to Charlotte Goatman, with Jess landing a double whammy for both Learner of the Year and Section of the Year going to the trombones.

The band has said how proud it is of its players and ‘everything they do to keep the band ticking along’.

The band is thriving under new musical director, Gareth Stubblefield, and members are currently working towards the Newquay Festival of Brass in February 2019.
