AVID photographers from across the area attended Wadebridge and District Camera Club awards evening dinner, recently. The club, which consists of members from St Breward and Tintagel, hosted a dinner to mark the end of another season and to present the annual award winners for 2013-2014. Having feasted well and shared tales of the year's achievements, the immediate past president, John Rogers, and newly elected president for 2014-2015, Stewart Privett, jointly presented the awards. They were: first special subject trophies to Stewart Privett and Chris Curtis; golden jubilee trophy to Brian Galbraith; diamond jubilee trophy to Linda Fenner; monochrome trophies to Penry Archer and Chris Curtis; natural history trophies to John Evans-Jones and Jane Pickles; portrait trophies to Stewart Privett and Anne Chapman; print of the year and creative print of year trophies to John Rogers; projected image of year to Adrian Langdon, creative projected image to Jenni Cheesman; most improved photographer to Tom Irons; photographer of the year to John Evans-Jones.
