AN AUTHOR is on the lookout for ghost stories in the Camelford area for her new book.
Ruth Roper Wylde is on the hunt for stories of ghosts on Camelford and the surrounding area’s roads, to include in her third book, The Roadmap of British Ghosts.
Ruth has written and published two books already — The Almanac of British Ghosts, and The Ghosts of Marston Vale. These are available in ebook and paperback form, and for those who have a Kindle unlimited subscription, they can read it for free.
Her third book, to be named The Roadmap of British Ghosts, should be available early next year, Ruth hopes.
Ruth is looking for people in the Camelford area to share their own personal paranormal experiences from the local roads.
She said: “I would love it if people could share with me their experiences of the paranormal that they have heard, seen or felt whilst out and about on our roads and lanes — they might have been driving, riding or even walking their dog down a road. It doesn’t matter if it was years ago, as long as they can give me a their first-hand experience, or the experience of a family member.
“This book will concentrate solely on ghosts haunting roads — and already I am getting some absolutely crazy correlations of people seeing very similar things in the same spot, but years apart.”
Ruth is also happy to take other stories too, providing it is a personal experience, as she has started a database for book number four. These stories can be stored there until that book hits the pipeline.
Anyone who might have a paranormal experience that they would like to share with Ruth to include in her third book, can contact her through her Facebook page — Ruth Roper Wylde (www.facebook.com/RuthRoperWylde) — or via email at [email protected]
