THE book launch of Launceston author Elaine Bennett’s (E M Taylor) book Battenberg and Banter, ‘Let’s Go Blogging’ was held recently at Launceston Tourist Information Centre.

Several people attended, including a friend of the author, Debbie Powell, who travelled from Oldham in Lancashire, to surprise Elaine on the day.

Customers enjoyed wine and nibbles, and a free raffle ticket and bookmark were given to those who purchased books on the day.

The winner of the raffle was Sarah from Launceston.

The book Battenberg and Banter, ‘Let’s Go Blogging’ is a humorous collection of stories about every day life, to help keep you motivated, inspired and to recognise yourself amongst the chaos of life and laugh it off.

The book is now available in Launceston Tourist Information Centre at £5.99 or on Amazon in paperback or Kindle.

Elaine said: “I would like to say thank you so much to everyone who came, those who couldn’t come but have ordered books, and those who helped to make it such an enjoyable and successful day — more events are planned in the new year.”
