AROUND 300 to 400 people descended on Port Isaac Church Hall on Sunday, all hoping their child would be chosen to play Doc Martin's baby in the next series of the popular television show.
While most were local to the area, some travelled from Plymouth and as far afield as Bristol for the auditions.
All babies were given an audition number and were asked to wait while each was taken onto the stage to have video footage and photographs taken.
On Saturday, castings for the adult and child extras were held and almost 800 people turned up.
A spokesman for the production company said they were pleased with the response and the amount of people who had turned up over the two days.
