THOUSANDS of people visited the second Bradworthy Arts Festival held over the bank holiday weekend. The event, which stretched across 10 different venues and featured more than 80 artists, is fast becoming one of the biggest art festivals in the area. From pottery to paint, sculpturing to spinning — there were all kinds of mediums and competitions/interactive workshops for people of all ages to take part in. The village was crammed with creativity, which spread out as far as West Gallery Putford, West Down House and Sutcombe Memorial Hall. Refreshments and various types of food were also provided. Melanie and Simon Osborne of Creative Craft Retreats hosted green oak framing demonstrations, children's willow workshop, pot-glazing and firing in a Raku kiln and providing the setting for a giant goose spectacle.
