After nearly a year in the making, Ross-on-Wye's Market House will open its doors once more to the Made in Ross Art Collective. The collective are getting ready for the grand opening on Sunday, May 3rd. The aim is for local artists and crafts people to display and sell their work in the Market House.
There will be a broad range of art on offer; watercolours, photography, glass, ceramics and textiles will be just some of the work on display. The Market House will not only act as a gallery for local artists; they will also be running workshops for people interested in expanding their artistic abilities.
The Town Council leases the Market House to the Courtyard, who have put the collective into the space. Brian Griffiths, one of the artists, told the Ross Gazette: "We're very grateful for the generosity of the council, and the Courtyard, who have been overseeing the project."
