A TWO-DAY Art and Patchwork exhibition was held at St Swithun’s Church, Pyworthy, on Saturday, July 23, and Sunday, July 24.

The exhibition was held in aid of the ‘Churchyard and Fabric Fund’. Those who took part included members of the ‘Pyworthy Art Group’, Miranda Kitchen, Irene Sharp, Sally Allison, Chrissy Hillier, Sue Wallace, Angela Cottier, Ruth Saxton and Janet Grant.

A highlight of the exhibition was Jeanette Orr’s award winning, and extremely colourful, patchwork.

Pyworthy Art Group meet on a Tuesday afternoon in the village hall from 2.30pm until 4.30pm.

Their next meeting after the summer break will be Tuesday, September 6, and they welcome anyone with an interest in art, or who are just curious about the group, to come along.
