ARSON is suspected in relation to a garage fire in Crackington Haven which took place in the early hours of Monday morning.

Two fire brigade appliances from Bude and a Wholetime Officer attended the incident at Manor Close, Crackington Haven.

On arrival of the brigade, the fire was out. However, officers used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to damp down and investigate the property.

A Cornwall County Fire Brigade spokesman said arson was suspected and the police were informed.

An ambulance was also required as one person had inhaled smoke.
