BEER lovers arrived by the bus load for Launceston's first ever Drecklyfest, held on November 2.
Pubs united to organise the event as a Cornish homage to Germany's Oktoberfest, which was spearheaded by Joe Thomson, head brewer at Penpont Brewery.
Joe decided to hold the Drecklyfest after Launceston Beer Festival was such a success. He said: "We wanted to do something with all the pubs and work together to promote them. It went really well, with six pubs taking part to organise and run the event."
