THE Camelford and Wadebridge branches of the Royal British Legion, in conjunction with The Cornwall at War Museum and the Davidstow RAF Memorial Museum, are hosting an Armed Forces Parade at Davidstow on Sunday, June 27.
The parade will form up at 2pm under the watchful eye of parade marshall J W Beale BEM at the entrance to the Davidstow RAF Memorial Museum. The parade will then march to the RAF Davidstow Moor Memorial where wreaths will be layed, before marching behind the Cadet Corps of Bugles and Drums to The Cornwall at War Museum parade ground for inspection.
The salute will be taken by Lt Col T Clark (Parachute Regt) Commandant of Okehampton Battle Camp.
All serving, and ex-service, men and women, ex service organisations and standards and cadet forces are welcome to participate.
Both museums will be open from 10am for visitors to tour the extensive exhibitions. Light refreshments available at modest cost. Visitors in uniform, wearing an RBL or Veteran's badge, RBL or regimental blazer, will be given free admission. Normal admission charges to the Cornwall at War Museum to all others.
