Launceston Rugby Club has announced the appointment of Tony Roques and Mal Roberts as joint head coaches following the resignation of Jon Hill and Keith Brooking.

Chairman Tim Fox said: "Both Tony and Mal will bring a wealth of experience with them and I am confident that they will motivate and encourage the team to perform at the best of their ability. Simon Owens has taken on the director of rugby role at the club. This is a vitally important role within the club and deals with all of the 'off field' activities that need to be done. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all three to their new positions, and I look forward to working with them for many seasons to come."
