A WIND turbine that had been rejected by local parish councils, residents and Cornwall Council has been granted planning permission following an appeal in April.
The story of the turbine on land east of Prustacott Farm, Launcells, which will be up to 54 metres to tip, has recurred throughout Cornwall and Devon.
The turbine plot is less than 500 metres away from Fairfields Country Rest Home, a family run residential home for the elderly with clients who have varying cases of dementia.
