Police are appealing for witnesses after an eldery man involved in a four-vehicle collision near Pembroke last week later died in hospital.

The accident occurred at Nash on the A477 Milton to Pembroke Dock road last Thursday afternoon.

The man, 92-year--old Kenneth Herbert Bernau, was taken to hospital in a critical condition, but sadly passed away five days later.

"Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time," said a police spokesperson.

The collision, which occurred at 4.20 pm, involved a silver Vauxhall Corsa, a green Jaguar XJ6, a blue Fiat Scudo and a parked Vauxhall Insignia.

Police, fire and ambulance were called to the scene, while two others also received treatment for minor injuries.
