MAY I through your pages ask for help for our Charity, Sound Waves South West Music & Music Therapy Trust? We are based in Bude and provide free Music Therapy to 59 severely disabled children in local schools, we have a free Instrument Loan Scheme with approximately 80 instruments available and when funds are available we run Music Work Shops to approximately 2,500 children in schools around Bude.

We are in urgent need of active volunteers who may potentially become Trustees to help us with two specific areas of work.

Firstly we are looking for someone with knowledge of music to sort and catalogue our collection of sheet music. Secondly we need the help of someone who is prepared to travel in the Bude/ Camelford/Launceston/ Bideford / Barnstaple areas to make an annual check of the inventories of SWSW instruments placed in schools and used by our Music Therapists. No specific knowledge of music is needed for this, just common sense.
