THE Greenaway family brought some festive cheer to the village of Pyworthy once again when they held their annual lights switch-on event at their home on Derriton Road on Saturday, December 7.

This year the event was held in memory of Anthony Greenaway. On the night Martin Brennan did the honours and town crier of Holsworthy Roger Dunstan came along and presided over proceedings which included entertainment from the Bideford Youth Pipes and Drums and a Mad Hatters Tea Party, which was enjoyed by all.

All proceeds from the event will go to Over and Above’s North Devon Cancer and Wellbeing Centre.
