THE annual exhibition of art held at the Rock Village Institute entered its 13th year and was once again run in support of Port Isaac and Rock RNLI lifeboat stations in recognition of the sterling rescue work carried out in saving lives along this area of the North Cornwall coastline.

This year 22 artists took part in the exhibition, their talented and varied work attractively displayed at the Institute reaching an extremely high standard indeed, reflected by the brisk sales at the well attended private viewing evening.

The organisers would like to thank those artists and guests who attended the private view giving their support by purchasing painting, buying raffle tickets and making donations.

Particular thanks were expressed to Port Isaac RNLI, which set out a stunning display of its custom range of limited edition prints and unique original paintings all of which portrayed an historic or local RNLI life saving theme.

Additionally this year the display included original paintings by the late Frank McNichol, the well-known Port Gaverne artist who was such a generous supporter of Port Isaac RNLI and the local community throughout his life.
