THE Launceston and District Branch of the NSPCC held their annual golf day at Trethorne Golf Club on Wednesday, May 26. Eighty golfers took part in the day's activities, raising over £3,800 for the charity. John Heywood, Chair of the Launceston and District NSPCC, said: "Many local businesses sponsored the event and a most enjoyable day was followed by an excellent carvery and prize giving."
