A HIGHLY successful barbecue was held in Boyton on Sunday, June 2, to mark the 90th anniversary of the opening of Boyton Church Hall in 1923.
Inside the hall was a special exhibition of memorabilia; including the original 'Post' report of the official opening by The Bishop of Truro, displayed by Norman Cowling.
Outside was a barbecue presided over by Ray Willis who cooked burgers, sausages and chicken pieces. In addition, diners were offered seasonal salads and home made barbeque sauce, all of which went down a treat.
For the full report, and a round up of the area news and sport, see this week's edition of the 'Post'.
