TAKE music and lyrics by Irving Berlin, the true story of the love affair of Annie Oakley and Frank Butler and the mixture of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show and you have an outstanding musical 'Annie Get Your Gun' being performed at Launceston Town Hall from January 27 to 30 under the direction of Margaret Parker with musical direction by Nick Chadd and choreography by Fiona Edmond.

From Broadway and West End musical, Launceston Amateur Dramatic Society (LADS) has excelled in bringing together this challenging and artistic production of this much loved classical musical. The show features hits including: There's No Business Like Show Business, Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better, You Can't Get A Man With A Gun, Do'in What Comes Naturally and many other classics.

The lead role is taken by Ail Corner as Annie, who has appeared in a range of musicals and more recently as Nancy in LADS' production of Oliver. Frank Butler is played by Tim Randell.
