A LADY from Launceston is embarking on a skydive adventure, raising money for Devon Air Ambulance.
Anna Greenaway from Launceston (pictured) is keen to raise money for the charity after her 12-year-old daughter needed their assistance as a baby, following an accident where she was severely burnt.
Anna said: “The skydive is also my own personal adventure, so I thought it would be a good idea to combine the two together.
“I am extremely excited to do the skydive, and I have even started counting down the weeks.”
Anna’s skydive will take place on Wednesday, August 10 at midday, and she will be travelling to Dunkerswell in Somerset to do it.
Anna is aiming to raise £500 for Devon Air Ambulance, and has already raised nearly £200 through various donating strategies. Anna has a Just Giving page and a Facebook page called Anna’s Skydive.
As well as this, sponsor forms are available in Launceston Computers, and her mother and brother, Sheila and Michael Greenaway also have sponsor forms to give to people in the hopes that as many people as possible will be keen to support Anna in her fundraising efforts.
