Over 100 people packed into Lanteglos Parish Church on Saturday, April 25 for an evening of Andrew Lloyd Webber music, provided by the Camelford Town Band. This was the first time that the band had produced a themed concert which proved to be a great success. The programme opened with 'Overture Act 1 Phantom of the Opera', other pieces included a trombone solo 'As If We Never Said Goodbye' from Sunset Boulevard played by Colin Gay, 'Any Dream Will Do' from Joseph and 'No Matter What' from Whistle Down the Wind, along with many other popular pieces. The guest soloist for the evening was Stephen Tyrrell who played a selection of music on the church organ. The concert raised £790 which was divided equally between the Lanteglos Parish Church and the Camelford Town Band.
