THE popular Harting Festivities centred on the 200-year-old Harting Old Club Friendly Society parade had an extra special element this year.
If a member is unwell and unable to attend, the march will go to them. And that's exactly what happened this year as festivities chairman Rhys Williams explained: "After the usual noon march the club members and the full Horndean Band continued a further half a mile through the village to play for Mr Ward in his garden.
