He was presented with a cheque for £110 which the children had raised though a charity jumble sale. The jumble sale was organised by the School Council which is made up of a selection of pupils from different year groups.
Friends and family were encouraged to bring unwanted possessions which the children priced up and resold to grateful buyers.
Judy Gidzewicz, Head teacher at Tintagel Primary School said the event was organised entirely by the children and it was them who chose to donate the proceeds to the RNLI.
