AMONG the twisting trees and crunching autumn leaves stood the children from Bude Infant School, aglow with twinkling lights from glow sticks for their Christingle service in the school's woods recently.

Each child made a traditional Christingle — with glow sticks instead of candles for health and safety — which they held with great pride as they performed a variety of songs as part of the Christingle service.

Children from Year 2 gave a preview of one of their feature songs from their Christmas production, 'Starlight'.
