THE 25th Halwill Flower and Produce Show was held on Saturday, September 3 and the committee was pleased to see several first time exhibitors, resulting in nearly 600 entries in the various classes.

Over 100 people came through the door to view the show in the afternoon and took part in the successful raffle. As show funds were getting rather low, the committee was grateful to be able to take part in North Devon Rotary Clubs' mega draw, whereby the ticket proceeds go to show funds, but 3the prizes are provided by the Rotary clubs. So far this has raised £80 to enable the show to keep going.

As usual there was a suggestion sheet available for exhibitors and members of the public to contribute ideas for next year's schedule and show. Committee member Marjorie Wonnacott presented the cups to the winners.
