BUDE Surf Life Saving Club (SLSC) is preparing for two of its biggest Christmas events, coming up in the next couple of weeks.
The annual Vicko's Santa Run is to take place in Bude on Sunday, raising funds for the surf life saving club's 60th year.
Bude's Citizen of the Year, Peter Vickery, has organised the Santa run as a fun event at Crooklets Beach. All runners are asked to bring their Santa outfit for the gallop or canter, across the sands of Bude.
The run will start at 10 am, during low tide, and will be from the top of the beach at Crooklets to the tideline at Wrangles Rock, across the beach towards Barrel Rock, along the river towards Iron Bridge, across the top of Summerleaze Beach, back down the beach past the sea pool, around Cross Rock and back to the surf club.
