WORK is continuing on Holsworthy's multi-million pound AgriBusiness centre and there are hopes it will be open in time for St Peter's Fair Week at the beginning of July.

Latest developments have been to the floor and pens. A spokesperson for Torridge District Council said: "Detailed design of the pennage earth bonding installation is now complete and the concrete floor slab design for the main building is being finalised.

"Careful consideration has been given to the nature of the surface finish to the concrete slab since we need to ensure that the animals cannot easily slip. However the concrete surface must still be reasonably easy to wash down and clean."
