CORNWALL Councillor for Launceston Central Alex Folkes was the first to be voted off a BBC quiz show, broadcast last Thursday — despite not getting an answer wrong!

Following an audition in Truro last year, he was selected to take part in a January production of popular show 'The Weakest Link'.
