BUDE firefighters praised Devon Air Ambulance Trust last week, as both the fire service and the trust responded to a road traffic collision on the B3254 near Red Post.

The fire crew was called to the single vehicle collision at around 2.15pm on Friday (March 31). A car had rolled upside down, but a casualty had been released when the firefighters arrived. The crew made the vehicle safe.

A spokesperson for Bude Community Fire Station said: “Devon Air Ambulance Trust also attended and impressively parked their big red helicopter in a very confined space on the road — a very impressive effort!”
