Oscar, a special four-legged visitor from the police dog team at Bodmin, along with his handler, PC Geoff Turner-Moore, visited The Advent Centre for Rural Education recently. Drugs awareness is taught to students as part of their personal, social development programme and this gave them the opportunity to watch a police drugs dog in action. Bob Newberry, director of the centre said: "We are grateful to the police dog unit for giving their time and explain to our students the harm drugs cause."
