THE committee of St Breward Institute and War Memorial Hall is actively fundraising to improve the building and facilities of the old historical hall.
This latest event organised by the committee, took place on the evening of Friday, November 25 when more than 60 local and nearby villagers were presented with an illustrated talk 'Wild Cornwall' by the popular Wadebridge based natural history photographer Adrian Langdon.
Adrian's talk, with a projected display of his stunning photographs of local and visiting wildlife, demonstrated that there is a considerable diversity of wild mammal, bird, insect, fish and plant life along our coast, river estuaries and open moorland, all on the doorstep if only people took the time to stop and look.
