TEN young people from Holsworthy and surrounding areas have experienced a thrilling night of live music thanks to a donation made to the Carewise young carer support project by The Balsden Trust.

Using a mini bus hired from Holsworthy Rural Community Transport, the 10 carers travelled to Plymouth Pavilions to enjoy a set by the Kaiser Chiefs.

Young carer support worker Jim Harvey, who organised the venture, said: "The young people all thoroughly enjoyed themselves and said what a positive experience it had been for them.

"I would like to thank the Balsden Trust for their generous support and volunteers Andrea Mules and Philip Westley for helping to make the trip so successful."
