TWO teenagers from Pyworthy successfully climbed up and descended Ben Nevis in aid of the North Devon Hospice.
Fifteen-year-old Jemma and thirteen-year-old Ben Mckenzie, together with their elder cousin Paul McKenzie, undertook the feat on May 25, Jemma's 15th birthday.
The weather conditions on the day, were bleak and testing — very low visability, ten metres maximum, walking on two metres of frozen ice.
There was fresh snowfall from the day before and temperatures of -12.
