RED cross members from Holsworthy were among 6,000 volunteers who received a royal invitation to a garden party held by The Queen at Buckingham Palace in London. Five members of Holsworthy Red Cross attended the party on June 12 by invitation of their president, The Prince of Wales and deputy president Princess Alexandra the Lady Ogilvy KG. The event was to honour 150 years of humanitarian action. Around 6,000 volunteers were present and the party was held in glorious sunshine.
