PUPILS at Tintagel and Delabole Primary Schools within the Creative Learning Academy Trust have concluded an informative and fun filled topic entitled 'Two Queens — National Celebration'.
As part of the topic they engaged in a range of exciting and enjoyable cross-curricular activities.
They learned about the life and times of Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth II and concluded the topic last Thursday with spectacular Royal-themed street parties.
Children wore fancy dress costumes and attended a street party lunch, participating in a range of games, including skipping races, hula-hooping competitions, bunting design, tug 'o' war and a knobbly knees competition.
A school spokesperson said: "Many thanks to all who made this event such an enjoyable success in particular to our Royal visitors."
